Self Portrait

I created a self portrait in abstract style using the website Mr. Picassohead. I thought that this assignment was actually pretty fun. It was different than most of the things that we have done. I found the website to be very easy to use and was interesting to see how my picture came out. I used the color tool, the rotating tool, and the delete tool to create my self portrait. Here is the link to my portrait. I think this would be a fun activity for students to do that will help them to be more comfortable with computers. The standards covered in this assignment are:
-Promote, support, and model creative and innovative thinking and inventiveness
-Engage students in exploring real world issues and solving authentic problems using digital tools and resources
-Design or adapt relevant learning experiences that incorporate digital tools and resources to promote student learning and creativity
-Customize and personalize learning activities to address students' diverse learning styles, working strategies, and abilities using digital tools and resources
-Demonstrate fluency in technology systems and the transfer of current knowledge to new technologies and situations
